WEEKLY UPDATE - MAY 1

Welcome back to the Weekly Wrap Up and a gorgeous start to May!

At City Council we had a lively discussion about forming a Municipal Development Corporation. While I love the idea of the City playing an active role in this type of community building, I believe our current Land Enterprise group is delivering great value to Edmontonians. 

I look forward to continuing to discuss how we evolve our land development model and real estate strategies as part of the annual Land Enterprise reports that will be provided moving forward. Thanks to all the speakers who shared their insights and passion in this conversation. 

We also had Public Hearing last week, where O-day’min saw one rezoning from RF2 to RF3 in Riverdale. This small change will help contribute to expanding housing options in the neighbourhood.
